Our wire edm components feature high precision, complex geometry, excellent surface quality and high hardness materials, and occupy an important position in high-end manufacturing. It offers a unique solution for custom machining, especially where complex geometry, high hardness materials and high precision and good surface quality are needed. With our wire-cutting technology, you can more effectively serve your individual needs while maintaining high quality.
Wire Edm, also known as EDM wire cutting, is a precision machining method that uses a fine metal wire as an electrode to generate an EDM discharge between the workpiece and the electrode to etch the material. It has a wide range of applications in custom machining, especially in the processing of cemented carbide, quenched steel and other materials that are difficult to process with traditional machining methods. Wire cutting is also particularly suitable for thin-wall parts and fine structure parts processing. Wire-cut is often able to achieve high dimensional accuracy (±0.005 mm) and good surface finish (Ra values can be as low as 0.8 microns), which makes it ideal for the manufacture of demanding precision parts, such as aerospace, medical equipment and other fields.
